About

Vintage synthesizers and drum machines, remade in 3D

Modeling vintage synthesizers and drum machines in 3D started as a hobby, and after all these years it still is: something I do next to my client work, simply because I love these machines. I've always been drawn to their look and the nostalgic feel they carry, and the closer I study them, the more I like them. It still amazes me that these complex circuits, designed by a handful of people, shaped the music we all know.

Some of them live on as art prints at Synthprint, my own print shop. Every print is made on high-quality paper and handled with care before it goes out, because I think these instruments deserve a place in your home, not just for their sound but for their design.

As the Beastie Boys said: “Nothing sounds quite like an 808.” I'd add that nothing looks as good on your wall.
