Only one EMS Synthi KB-1 was ever made: a prototype, built for Yes. Because it is so rare I spent a lot of time on the details, down to working out what every label actually says. Those sliders, knobs and colours make it a real beauty.
“I am the owner of the E.M.S Synthi KB-1 prototype and was eagerly anticipating the KB-1 print. The quality of the render is just amazing. It perfectly captures the beauty and design aesthetics of this unique and historically important synthesizer.” Steve Thomas, Digitana Electronics
